Burton Ewing Jr. Killed in Fullerton Motorcycle Accident

FULLERTON (June 26, 2014) – A fatal motorcycle accident Thursday evening left Burton Ewing Jr. with fatal injuries.

Ewing Jr. was riding a motorcycle on Thursday around 7:49 p.m. when he collided with a car.  The accident happened at S. Euclid Street and W. Baker Avenue in Fullerton.  Ewing Jr. was pronounced dead on the scene from the traumatic impact.  The 43 year old was resident of Anaheim.  The identity of the driver of the vehicle that struck Ewing Jr. has not been released, as information becomes available we will update this story.

An investigation into this fatal accident is underway as officials try to piece together what happened.  They will investigate possible causes of the accident including distracted driving and or driving under the influence.  Witnesses should contact the Fullerton Police Department at (714) 738-6800.  

Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Burton Ewing Jr.  Drivers must always be aware of lower profile vehicles such as motorcycles and bicycles on the streets.  If the driver of the auto is deemed liable in this accident, that driver can be held responsible for the wrongful death of Burton Ewing Jr.
