Wrong Way Accident Leaves Three Dead in Rancho Cucamonga

RANCHO CUCAMONGA (July 20, 2014) – A wrong way crash has left three people dead including the driver in the early hours of Sunday.

The crash reportedly occurred around 2:22 a.m. on the 210 Freeway (Foothill Freeway) near Deer Creek Boulevard.  The wrong way driver was westbound on the eastbound side of the freeway when the collision happened.  The car collided head-on with a silver Hyundai which had four people in it, two of the backseat passengers were killed immediately from the impact.  They were identified as 38 year old Fontana resident, Falguni Shah and 52 year old resident from London England, Veena Shah.  Their relation to one another is not yet known.  The driver and front seat passenger were rushed to Loma Linda Hospital and Arrowhead Regional hospitals.

The wrong way driver was also killed, he was driving a blue Hyundai.  He was identified as 28 year old La Habra resident, Mack Jaramillo.

The freeway was closed for several hours while California Highway Patrol investigators cleared the wreckage and collected evidence.  They will determine if alcohol played a role in this tragic accident.  If the driver is found to have been driving under the influence, he can be held liable for the wrongful deaths of Flguni Shah and Veena Shah.  Witnesses should contact the Rancho Cucamonga division offices of the CHP at (909) 980-3994.

Our very deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of the Shahs who lost two loved ones.

The sad thing is he has family too so why only say condolences to the other family and friends

  2. When another scum drinks up, drives on the wrong side of the freeway and crashes into your car, be to sure to send condolences to his family.

The sad thing is that this family brought this scum forward to this earth. Any kind of moron who can get himself drunk to the extent of not knowing which side of the freeway he is driving deserves to die.

The other sad thing is drinking scum never hit the divider or hit a pole and go without causing trouble to anyone. It always has to be a car full of innocents.
