Stanley McAlexander Dies in Riverside Motorcycle Accident

RIVERSIDE (June 26, 2014) – Stanley McAlexander died on Thursday after being involved in an accident while riding his motorcycle.

The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday at 781 Blaine Street.  According to officials, a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe was headed eastbound on Blaine Street, the Tahoe turned left in front of McAlexander’s motorcycle into a nearby shopping center.  McAlexander was not able to stop in time and struck the Tahoe.  He was rushed to Riverside Community Hospital where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.  The 66 year old was a resident of Riverside.   He was driving a 2002 Honda VTX 1800.

The driver of the Chevy Tahoe was identified as a 54 year old man from Riverside.  Police are investigating the accident to determine who had the right of way.  No further information is available at this time.  Witnesses should contact the Riverside Police Department at (951) 826-5700.
