Newport Beach – Pedestrian Thuy Nguyen died early Sunday morning after being struck by a pickup in Orange County. Nguyen was struck by a pickup on Saturday night at 10:00 p.m.  The accident occurred on the MacArthur Boulevard off-ramp of the southbound 73 freeway.  Nguyen was rushed to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo where he was pronounced dead forty five minutes after his arrival. Anaheim – Monica Salinas was killed Thursday afternoon while crossing the street in Southern California. Laguna Beach – Alberto Casique-Salinas and Armando Garcia-Gonzales were killed early Tuesday morning when a car suddenly struck their car head-on.
