Passenger Armando Mendoza Dies When Driver of Car Loses Control

San Bernardino County – Armando Mendoza was involved in a car accident that took his life on Sunday.

Mendoza was riding in the passenger seat of a Honda Civic traveling west on I-10 at about 2:00 a.m.  The driver of the Civic apparently made a quick turn to exit the freeway at Riverside in Bloomington but lost control and rolled the car over.  Mendoza was ejected from the car then was struck by another vehicle which was exiting the off-ramp.  Mendoza was declared dead at the scene, he was only 26 years old.

Investigating agencies are trying to determine if the driver of the Honda Civic was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident.  Our condolences go out to the friends and family of Armando Mendoza in his untimely death.
