Miranda was riding a motorcycle around 11:30 a.m. when he was struck from the rear by a car.  He was rushed to Menifee Valley Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.  The 37 year old was a resident of Hemet.

Authorities identified the location of the accident as the intersection  of Domenigoni Parkway and State Route 79 (Winchester Road).  An investigation is ongoing although early reports indicate the driver who struck Miranda was distracted.  Witnesses should contact the California Highway Patrol’s San Gorgonio office at 909-769-2000.

The family of Freddie Miranda will have the right to sue the driver of the vehicle for the wrongful death of Mr. Miranda especially if he is found to be liable for Mr. Miranda’s death.

  1. Freddie was my neighbor was a very nice guy last year I would take his two daughters to school with my son to high school and he has a new one-year-old baby she will never get a chance to know him how sad real good guy he will be missed and in my prayers and the lady responsible for this should go to prison and be sued

  2. I agree. Have been following the story it seems to me that the lady that hit him seemed to just say oh well just did not stop in time I slid into him. My guess is she was probably texting. I really hope she gets sued and goes to prison. My prays go for the family they now have to live without a father because she did not pay attention to her driving.
