Riverside County – Elvie Catuira, 58 years, of Hemet, California was died at 2:14 p.m. after an auto accident at 2 p.m.. She was wearing her seat belt, and she was not ejected from her car after the collision. The police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
The accident occurred on Domenigoni Parkway when her vehicle and a truck collided. According to the CHP, she may have traveling at 60 mph when the accident occurred. There were two men in the truck who also suffered injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
Slow moving trucks can pose hazards on highways, especially at night or if they do not take proper precautions.
