Laguna Niguel –  Clarice Jordan suffered fatal injuries as a result of a car accident she was involved in on Friday afternoon.

The accident happened in around 12:30 p.m. at the busy intersection of Crown Valley Parkway and Greenfield Drive.  Four total cars collided together.  Jordan was immediately taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center suffering from a broken arm.  However, for unknown reasons, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead later at 5:20 p.m.   Officials have ordered an autopsy in search of answers.

In the meantime, crash investigators are taking a deeper look into the collision.

Jordan was 88 years old, a resident of Mission Viejo, Orange County.
