The 3rd Recall in two weeks for the Ford Escape!!

Ford is recalling nearly 485,000 Escape SUVs to fix sticking gas pedals that can cause crashes. The worldwide recall covers Escapes from the 2001 through 2004 model years that are powered by 3-liter V-6 engines with cruise control. It comes just over a week after U.S. safety regulators began investigating the small SUVs. Recall Roundup – Mazda and Ford top the list!

Mazda says it is recalling about 217,500 Tributes from the 2001-6 model years as well as some from 2008 to fix a problem with the cruise control cable that could lead to unintended acceleration. The recall is related to Ford’s recall Thursday of about 421,000 Escapes from the model years 2001–4 with the 3-liter V-6 engine for the same problem. The Escape and Tribute are mechanical siblings. Christian Dasilva Motorcycle Accident Wrongful Death in Huntington Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH – Christian Dasilva died after being involved in a collision with a Lexus sedan on Hamilton Avenue near the intersection of Brookhurst in Huntington Beach California.  The collision occurred on Monday in late afternoon, according to police. Mr. Dasilva was taken by ambulance to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, where he was pronounced dead.  Police have stated that he was wearing a helmet, although the exact cause of the collision is still under investigation. ...
